Levels for 2020-2021

Our Mommy and Me class is designed for 2 year-olds with a parent or guardian. This class introduces the young student to movement and music with the safety of having a parent or guardian right there at all times. But don’t think for a moment it’s just for the little one, parents are encouraged to move and dance too, giving both of you a fun time to connect and learn together.

Mommy and Me classes are offered in 9 week sessions with four sessions offered per year. Each session costs $120 or you can pay for all four sessions up front for $400. A $20 registration fee is only charged once per year.

Careful consideration is taken when placing any student on pointe, and pre-pointe work is required before this is allowed. Instilling a healthy body image and attitude toward self-care is also a vital part of this level. Students are encouraged to take risks and dance beyond what they accomplished the day before and therefore progress beautifully.

Our Adult program is currently on pause until we move into our new permanent location.

Movement for All Abilities’ (M4AA) aim is to breakdown the barriers that prevent participation by structuring a class that is accessible to children with special needs. Our class encourages body awareness, muscle coordination and musicality. We accomplish this through repeated exercises, use of tactile aids, and a focus on measurable progress towards each person’s “best” rather than an ideal. Each student is encouraged to participate as much or as little as they want and care is taken to ensure students are not over-stimulated with loud noises. Each class has a main instructor plus additional teaching staff to ensure each participant receives any personalized attention they may require.

M4AA classes are offered in 9 week sessions with four sessions offered per year. Each session is limited to six students and is offered free of charge. Please contact us for details about enrolling in our next M4AA session.
